Hi, my name is Sarah and I’m a Disney addict.  My passion for the Mouse started at an early age and was fueled by yearly trips to Walt Disney World.  So, really, I blame my parents for all of this.   Now as an adult (in number only), I’m a DVC member, Annual Pass Holder and make several trips to the World every year.

In 2010, I took a leap of faith and ran my first 5K in Walt Disney World.  With minimal training, I struggled through the race and swore I would never do that again.  Well a year later I found myself back at the starting line.  Again I huffed and puffed my way through, but I had a newfound motivation.  I saw many of my friends successfully complete both the Halloween 5k and the Wine & Dine Half Marathon in 2011, and knew I could do that too.  So the training began…

I am now addicted to this running thing and get excited at every milestone I hit.  runDisney events have set me on the path to healthier living and I hope to share with you my accomplishments, heartache, tips and love for Disney along the way.  Join me on my journey to improve my pace, get fit, and eat as much healthy, delicious food as possible!   Oh and of course there will be a lot of Disney antics thrown in there along the way 🙂

So I’ll see you at the finish line!!  We have to burn off the calories for that Whispering Canyon Café Breakfast somehow, right?!
