RAD Recap for May 11, 2014

Happy Mother’s Day to all you moms out there!  Enjoy your day and treat yourself to something special…you deserve it!


It’s been a good week around here.  Now that spring has finally sprung, I’m trying to go to as many local events as possible.  Last week I went to the Milford Harbor Duck Race, which was quite entertaining and then I walked around the Westville Artwalk this weekend.  I love getting out to these events and supporting the community….there is so much cool stuff going on here in CT!

Thankfully we had no issues with the house this week and I think my adventures in home ownership are coming to an end.  I also got some crazy workouts in this week and I’m really starting to push myself again with heavier weights and not taking the easy road.  Who cares if it takes me longer to finish…I’m getting stronger!


This week I debuted a new series on RAD called Transformation Tuesday after being inspired be so many of you out there who have transformed your life through running at Disney.  I wanted to create a place for you to share your stories and inspire others.  Liz kicked off the series with her story…just look at her transformation!


Danielle was back this week with another installment in her Yoga for Runners series!  She featured my favorite recovery pose, Legs Up The Wall…you must try this!

To round out the week, Sarah (not me) stopped by with a really fun recap of the Expedition Everest Challenge.  Can’t wait to do this next year!


Coming up this week: another transformation story, a game of Kill, Refurb, Marry and a contributor to RAD discussion goals and getting started with running.  It’s going to be a fun week so make sure to come back and check it all out!!
