What a crazy few weeks in the world of runDisney!! First the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend and then Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend…it’s been hard to keep up! Even though I wasn’t able to make it to either race weekend, I have had some AH-MAZING readers covering all of the events to bring you all of the fun!
So here’s what was covered this week:
I reflected on my Walt Disney World Marathon experience after watching so many runners cross the finish line last week. Will I run another one??
Sarah Norris recapped the Disney Family Fun 5K, a great kick off to Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend!
Jillian Davis is turning her son Cole into quite the runner. He even has his own post race routine at the runDisney Kids Races!
Kelly Faysash was one of the thousands of amazing voluntEARs over Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend. She hung up her running shoes and supported the marathoners at one of the most difficult parts of the race, Mile 21.
There are some great posts you won’t want to miss out on this week, including: Eating Over Marathon Weekend, the Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend Expo, the Inaugural Walt Disney World 10k Recap, a look at staying Concierge at the Polynesian Resort over race weekend, and one runners take on the Dopey Challenge!
There’s been some other great coverage of the race weekends as well that you should read:
- Dylan also voluntEARed at Mile 21 and loved his experience as well!
- Amanda started recapping her Dopey Challenge experience with the 5K, 10K and Half Marathon.
- Danielle put together some great costumes for the Walt Disney World 10K..extra, extra!!
Do you want to write for Running at Disney and share your story? Let me know! I’d love to hear from you 🙂
Hi Sarah! I am writing this poolside in Anaheim after an AMAZING Tinkerbell half experience this morning! Love runDisney!
Thanks for sharing my 10k recap, it was so much fun running as a Newsie (although hot as heck!). Working on my full marathon recap now : )
