This has been a tough week. Starting with the tragedy in Boston, I feel like I’ve been in a daze. I thankfully ended the week by coming to Walt Disney World…my happy place. But I honestly almost didn’t make it.
It’s no secret that I really don’t like flying. I get myself very worked up in the days leading to a trip and because of everything that went on this week, it multiplied my anxiety by 1000. As I was sitting at the airport, there were a few moments that I almost got up and ran back to my car. But I just kept talking myself off of the ledge, got on that plane and now I’m here having a blast. I wish it would get easier…

I had the best intentions to get at least one (if not 2 runs) while I’m here in WDW, but that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. Sometimes you just need a break and that’s what I’m doing.
Earlier in the week I had a few really good days at CrossFit and also got in a 4.09 mile run for Boston. You can see my complete WODs this week including a bagillion squats on my page on dailymile.

Even though I’m not running, you always get a lot of exercise in WDW just from walking around so I’m fine with that. I sure hope next week is better than last week!! Have a good one!!
