It’s December…cold weather, holiday shopping and little daylight are admittedly not my favorite. This is how I tend to feel about the holiday season:
Yes I know, I’m a regular ole Grinch, but I just really miss flip flops, fresh vegetables and warm nights. Can you really blame a girl??

This has not been a good week for me. For a few weeks, I’ve been having a relatively bad flare up of my colitis. The worst side effect (besides the obvious) is the extreme fatigue it causes. One thing I’ve learned the the 10 years of having this disease is that I need to listen to my body and not push myself because it end up just making things worse. So that’s what I did last weekend and things calmed down, but unfortunately another issue arose.
I’ve been dealing with night sweats for some time now, but it got much worse this week. I was getting about 7 hours of sleep, but waking up exhausted. So much so that I was extremely lightheaded all week. I skipped 2 CrossFit classes to come home and take a nap after work. I’m not really sure what is going on, but I have a doctor’s appointment tomorrow to hopefully get some answers. I rested again this weekend and I’m feeling MUCH better.

I’m hoping that this week will be much better and I’ll be able to get back to training and WODs. I found this Holiday Squat-a-Thon that Run with Jess posted this week that I’m going to try to do this month. Since I just found this today, I did 45 to make up for yesterday. I do love my squats 🙂 Want to join me?
