RAD Reads and Weekly Review: January 20, 2013

Oh nothing big happened this past week…I only ran a MARATHON! It’s still kind of surreal to me that I finished the race and completed this incredible milestone in my life. My recap will be coming this week…it’s taking quite a while to go through all my photos and wrap my brain around the experience. But in the meantime, Live, Run, Grow, Fit2Flex, Dr. Rachel Runs, We Run Disney, The Unlikely Competitor, Dan’s Marathon, and Illuminating Epcot all have great coverage from the weekend. You also need to check out this awesome video by Lee Hoedl who recorded the entire race.
I also registered for the Dumbo Double Dare this week so it looks like I’ll be headed out to Disneyland in August! I’ve never been there and I couldn’t be more excited to take part in this inaugural race on my first trip! Who else is taking the challenge?

I was a bit sore after the race, but the worst part were the blisters that I got. Both feet got matching blisters on my little toes and the balls of my feet. It made walking incredibly painful, so any recovery runs were out of the question. I
