More Celebrities Announced for Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend

runDisney has announced new celebrities that will be joining Alison Sweeney and Colin Cowherd during the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend taking place January 10-13, 2013.

Kit Hoover

Running the half marathon are actor Gilles Marini from Sex in the City: The Movie and Dancing with the Stars fame, Access Hollywood co-host and avid runner Kit Hoover, and reality TV stars Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca from Survivor and The Amazing Race.  This will be the first half marathon for Marini, while Hoover, Zohn and Morasca are all experienced runners.  I will be more than willing to help Marini across the finish line if he needs assistance :)

Drew Carey

Taking part in the full marathon are comedian and The Price Is Right host Drew Carey and our favorite Goonie Mikey…oh I mean Sean Astin.  I can’t tell you how excited I am about the possibility of possibly running next to a Goonie in the Walt Disney World Marathon!   This isn’t Astin’s first Disney race.  He ran the inaugural Tinker Bell Half Marathon earlier this year and will also be running in the Disneyland Half Marathon later this month.  Here’s a great interview that Sean did after finishing the Tinker Bell Half.

There are still more than 4 months (yikes!!) before the race so I wonder who else will jump on board for the race.  Which celebrity would you like to see run during the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend?
